Hi Sarah! The rodeo looked amazing fun - I can just imagine little Freya undecorating the sheep. It's great to hear that you've met a few Brits and that they have children similar in age to Freya. I will make sure that I keep an eye on your blog now and update Loz and mum when I see them. Take care. Love to Gareth and Freya xx
Hi Sarah,Gareth and Freya, Must be good to be Holiday-makers before getting down to the job. Hope your bump is behaving Sarah and you are taking it easy. Love to Freya and mum and Dad. Speak to you soon. Love Dad.
Hi sas, Ga and little Frey. It's auntie Lorn and uncle Dan here. Great to see where you are living and hear the stories of your first month in NZ. Rodeo looks like fun but don't you get any ideas Sarah Hay (sorry, Williams!)Sounds like you've got our itinerary sorted out for when we come over in the summer already. The place seems awesome! Dan can't wait to ski down a volcano - we saw it on ski sunday last week. I just wish it was going to be your summer when we come over so that i can work on my tan! Have never been on a blog site before, it's really cool. Will make sure i post lots of messages on here and regularly. Really miss you both and Freya - was so good to speak the other day. We both really cannot wait to come out this summer That's all for now - we're both fine by the way just off to go out for dinner because our boiler is finally being fitted and the kitchen is chaotic. Love you Lorn & Dan xxxxx
Hi Sarah, Gareth and Freya The blog is great, nice idea. Really glad to hear that you are all settling in to life in NZ. Had a look at Google Earth and it looks like you are in just the right place to explore the North Island. I bet it has been great to have a hoilday before you start work. We are good and looking forward to a skiing holiday at Half term. Have been kayaking recently off Start Point, good but ended up rescuing oiled sea birds, victims of the Napoli container ship which is beached in Lyme Bay. Anyway will keep reading the blog, expecting you guys to keep it up so we can read about your great times! Good luck with the job Gareth, love Pete, Ang, Milly and Sam
Hi Sarah Gareth and Freya. Just been made aware of your blogspot from Alison. Lovely to hear that all is going well and everything is working out. I don’t fancy riding in the rodeo myself but can imagine how it appeals to you. Likewise I can just see Freya giving it her all to detach that ribbon. Received Freya’s card yesterday and I must confess to having a tear. I and the children miss her a great deal and she is often talked about. I still expect her to come running through the front door with some breakfast for Finley. George is now toddling about and Jay says more and more everyday. Adam is still heavily into tractors and diggers and we often have to detour when we are out to see the demolition work where “What” used to be. We had snow this week but unfortunately not enough to build a snowman. Tim and Faye continue to do well. Bob and Faye and Tim and I miss your jokes and the sparks. Glad that NZ is so wonderful x
