We have now arrived in New Zealand and the sun is shining. We had a long flight and feel a little tired but at the same time feel very exited. we got a free ride from the airport through scotty who needed someone to drive a hire car back to the city and asked if we'd drive it back for him so we did. We are in Auckland for a couple of days now with Lucy before heading south to Taumarunui.

Happy New Year to you all down under.
Looking forward to hearing your progress and glad that you have arrived safely with Lucy in Auckland. We spent NY at Aflora watching fireworks on TV (pizza, beer and fizz). Joyce keeps on mentioning that she can't believe you have moved to Sweden!! Don't know where she got that one from!?!
Will send some xmas pictures once we get home via Edinburgh.

Hi Gareth Sarah and Freya,
Gareth and I talked a lot last night on our return from Mexico but I wanted to try leaving a mesage on your blogg. Mexico was lovely. The hotel was great and the best cocktails were on offer, the best being a choco monkey and white russian.
The snokelling on cosumel island,reputed to be some of the best in the world was pathetic. Never mind!
I'm typing this with all the confidence that it will get thro' to you but we will see.
Getting back to nz I am impressed with the car. I had visions of another auction car like before and the house seems great but no pool!!!
